Military units can utilize Power Sonix Public Address Systems in the same manner as many civilian uses including search and rescue, base/range public address and as weather warning systems. In addition, there are some unique military uses for our high-powered public address systems.
Special Ops and Occupying Forces
We'll leave it up to the creativity of Special Operations planners to envision the possibilities for our high-powered, long-distance speech and sound projection systems for operations management, forward base communications, combat operations, recognizance, search and rescue, civilian warnings and communications, emergency management, etc.

Speech can be used as a deterrent to pockets of resistence or as calming factor for a scared and agitated occupied population. Power Sonix gives advances forces and occupation forces the loudspeaker tools to reach as far and as wide as necessary with clearly understanable voice communications.

No other loudspeaker system gives military operation planners the ability to plan for and the flexibility to execute direct public address strategies with the range and clarity of Power Sonix. Whether you're trying to take Baghdad or Kabul, control the DMZ or Bosnia, our systems can be critical to the success of special operation and occupying forces. Check out our product line.

Get tactical messages out where and when needed using vehicle-mounted and backpack PA systems with the power to cover large areas.
Psychological Ops
Power Sonix enables direct dissemination of verbal propaganda to an enemy force or a foreign civilian population in their native tongue from a distance of 3/4 mile up to several miles away. Speech can be launched from aircraft, ships or by ground troops and vehicles.

The most notorious use of our systems for this purpose was during 1989's Operation Just Cause in Panama. Some US Marines thought it might help roust deposed Gen. Manuel Noriega from his Vatican embassy safe haven if they played very loud rock and roll music constantly at the embassy. The Vatican complained about the harassment and Gen. Colin Powell ordered the US Marines to silence the loudspeakers. Noise/sound can be a very effective harrasser of the enemy in active engagement scenarios.

Non-Lethal Weaponry
Turning up the volume and shortening the distance between our systems and the enemy can provide a debilitating sound. Rendering an adversary inoperable for even a brief period in this manner can give advancing forces an opportunity to overwhelm and disarm with minimum loss of life and use of munitions. It could also be used in prisoner staging areas to maintain temporary control of large numbers of prisoners.
High powered sound can debilitate even the heartiest of enemy combatants.
